Ans.        Animal husbandry, also called animal science, stockbreeding or simple husbandry, is the agricultural practice of breeding and raising livestock. It has been practiced for thousands of years, since the first domestication of animals. It also cares and manages the domestic animals for their good health; for obtaining the requirement for the use of these animals for man.
                Animal husbandary plays a very important role in agriculture and in dairy sector. It plays an important part in the economy of rural area.
Animal husbandary includes cattle farming. Cattle husbandary serves two purposes milk and for the agricultural work such as for irrigation and carting. It includes cow and buffaloes.
Milk producing animals are called as diary animals and the animals which are used for farm labour are called as draught animals.
Dairy animals are provided with the shelter, which protect the animals from rain, heat and cold. Vaccinations are given to the animals against the disease.
Some of the uses are:
Cow:
1. Provides milk from which various products byproducts are produced.
2. Cow dung which can be used to make cow cakes to obtain energy.
Oxen:
1. It is useful in agricultural and farming activities.
2. Commercial uses in oil mill.

                Severe thunderstorms, flooding, landslides, drought, and famine depending on the timing, intensity, and duration of the summer monsoons

                Deforestation (overuse of wood for fuel and lack of alternatives); contaminated water (with human and animal wastes, agricultural runoff, and industrial effluents); wildlife conservation; vehicular emissions; High arsenic and microbiological levels in groundwater.
